Carrot halwa is well known dessert in india. The main ingredients are carrots, ghee, milk and sugar.It is a traditional delightful dessert, kids and elders everyone likes and
the taste is so yummy. when you add lot of dry fruits which gives more taste to this dessert.we can serve it either warm or cold.

Ingredients:
1/4 th cup ghee
Dry fruits(almonds cashews and raisins)
4 cups finely grated carrot
2 cups of milk
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1tbsp cardamom powder(1tbsp sugar +4 cardamoms blend in mixar jar)

Method:
Add ghee in a heat pan and add dry fruits and saute until turns into golden brown.
Keep aside in small plate.
Add grated carrot into ghee and saute well for about 3-4 min.Carrot absorbs the ghee and changes the color.
Now add milk and cook for about 10 minutes in medium flame.
Saute it occasionally and cook 10 more minutes in low flame.
Carrot absorbs the milk and add sugar and salt mix it well.
Now add cardamom powder and dry fruits into it.
Mix well and cook for 2 minutes in low flame.
Carrot halwa is ready.Allow it to cool for some time.
serve it as warm or cold…Enjoy.
